TWO YEARS!!!
It was two years ago today that I found my Mom at the Oregon Humane Society! (She was volunteering that day.) Other people came by and I checked them out too, but I definitely felt the connect when I saw Mom. Then Dad came by after work, and I knew they were the parents for me - they were both great! To celebrate, they got me a special treat (pictured above). My gift to them will be lots of kisses and less shedding (but today only, at least the shedding part).
Moral of the story ~ next time you decide to add a furry friend to your home, try your local animal shelter - there are lots of wonderful pets just waiting for the purr-fect home!
