A HUGE Dog Park!!!!

 

WOW! Bear Creek Dog Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado is a fully enclose 25-acre dog park! Yes, you read right ~ 25 acres!! Mom & Dad took me here a quite honestly, I didn't know what to do with myself - all that room and not on leash - I was a bit overwhelmed. I soon got the hang of it, came when called (they had my most favorite treats!), and met some 4-legged friends. I had a great time and slept a lot the rest of the day!

I Visited the Humane Society in Colorado Springs, Colorado!

We were driving around yesterday and we came upon the Humane Society - it looked great (and I'm always pining for a friend, kitten or dog), so Mom & Dad went in. (I wasn't allowed - bummer!) First, let me answer he question on everyone's mind - no, I didn't get my own kitten or a new dog-friend. I asked and asked, and really looked cute and soulful, but it didn't work,  But they did come back and report that it was a great facility - lots of cats and dogs ready for adoption  so if you're in the area and need of some fur-love, ya know where to go!!

Yippee!! We camped by a lake and I got to run off-leash and fetch sticks!! I even swam a bit, by accident of course, since I really don't like my feet to leave the ground.

Here I am at the City of Rocks State Park n New Mexico.  It would have been fun to be allowed off-leash to sniff all the different holes, but as you may recall, I've lost off-leash privileges until further notice!

Good-bye Agility Course.......We're back on the road.........

Well, I'm a bit bummed that I'll have to leave the agility course behind, as we're heading out this morning to travel to new destinations.  Thought I'd leave y'all with some action shots!

Hey there! It's been a while, I know - I've been very busy napping, chewing rawhides and going for walks.  We've been heading to the agility course a few times a week, and I'm getting pretty darn good, if I say so myself.  Here I am jumping the high bar. (Okay, well, it's not too high, but Dad doesn't want to have a broken leg vet bill after the recent root canal.) About time Mom remembered the camera!
